Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

Consumer health data privacy.

Accident Advisory · Effective October 24, 2026

Who this notice covers

Accident Advisory operates this website and reviews inquiries submitted here. We are an information resource, not a medical provider or law firm. This notice describes the health-related information in an inquiry and supplements our Privacy Notice.

Information you choose to submit

We receive information directly from you: whether you were injured, your request for medical care, accident date, and any health-related information you choose to include in comments. Your name, email, telephone number, state, ZIP code, and contact preference are associated with that inquiry. Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, insurance identifiers, or another person’s private information.

Why we use it

With your affirmative consent, we use these details to understand your request, review it internally, and respond using your preferred contact method. We also use information you provide in a privacy request to verify and handle that request. You can read our guides without submitting an inquiry.

Who receives it

Your submission is stored in our WordPress form system and delivered to the Accident Advisory inquiry administrator. Hosting, form processing, email delivery, mailbox, security, and backup service providers process data to operate these systems. These processors may handle the information contained in your submission.

The inquiry form does not automatically forward your information to lawyers, medical professionals, collision centers, advertisers, or affiliates. Provider sharing and sale of health-related inquiries are not enabled by this form. Before any later sharing with a provider, we will identify the recipient and request separate permission. This form is not an authorization to sell your health data.

Your choices and requests

To request access, correction, deletion, a list of recipients, or withdrawal of consent, open our request form, select Privacy request, enter your name and email, and describe the action you want in Comments. No injury information, phone number, or new marketing consent is required for a privacy request. We use your contact information to respond and may request limited information to verify your identity.

To appeal a privacy decision, use the same option and begin your comment with “Privacy appeal.” Include the date of the decision. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain any refusal and available complaint options. You may also contact your state attorney general.

Storage and changes

Submissions may remain in the website database, receiving mailbox, service logs, and backups until removed under the applicable retention or deletion process. Withdrawal stops future consent-based processing; it does not undo processing already completed. Applicable legal obligations may affect deletion. Any new use or sharing that requires additional consent will be presented separately before it occurs.
